The video has been created as an attempt to observe and redefine the discontinuity between the natural marine environment in all its randomness and the monolithic sensation of the built blocky landscape.

The border of these two contrasting worlds, so apparent in Nella Golanda’s landscape architecture became the center point of the action, revealing interesting relationships between architecture and the human body, spatial memory and dance expression. The observations around this sculptural, spatial intervention and the behavioral patterns of the locals and passers-by that interacted with the space became the blueprint that allowed the choreographers to create a spatial diagram that was later translated into movement.

The choreography was applied back to the space creating a second layer of events that were significantly formed by the random reactions of the people and the ever changing natural environment.

The final piece is a 7.42’ video installation.
