Emphasis is given in creative design while insisting in problem solving of construction details. The synthesis principles of design are determined afresh on the basis of the requirements of each project. An effort is made to use eco-friendly materials and basic principles of environmentally sustainable design, without making use of high technology.
YOLKSTUDIO collaborators come from the field of Architecture, Interior and Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Photography and Video Art.

The work of YOLKSTUDIO has received national and international recognition at various occasions. The work of the office exhibited in the 9th, 8th and 7th Biennale of Young Greek Architects in Benaki Museum (Athens), in the 7th and 8th National Architecture Exhibition “ THE VOID “ (Patra), at the Panorama of Greek Architecture organised by Domes International Architectural Review. Some recent distinctions in international architectural competitions: “Piraeus Tower 2010 – Changing the Face/Façades Reformation”, Athens Heart design award 2013, Domes Awards 2013, Hotel Design Awards 2017. 

The corporate design was created by the artist and graphic designer Em Kei. For this work she received a distinction at the ΕΒΓΕ awards.
