IKEA project: Enjoy the splash!

Enjoy the splash!

The idea was to create two room settings that will be different from all the surrounding ones in the IKEA stores. A room setting that will stand out for its unexpected, appearance and approach, with inspiration from the contemporary artscene. The students created something that was not directly connected to IKEA concept and was out of the box. The design took its cues from Hockney painting "A Bigger Splash". The title of the concept: Enjoy the splash!

Guidelines: only IKEA product’s, not change the function or the appearance of the IKEA products, architectural elements allowed, external propping allowed.
